Hello everyone,
I am using parallel computing with fluent with 4 processors. In particular I am studying an airfoil with Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model. The strange thing is that depending on the number of processors used (1.2 or 4), when I go to perform in the "execute commands" command "extract airfoil cp etc. .." I get different points of my profile. For example, by making a calculation with two parallel processors, the CP extract is 576 points, but if I use 4 processors becomes 582 points. Someone suggested I change something in the 'execute commands " Can you help me??? thanks a lot |

Hi,
That's because of different patitions created with different number of processes in case one of the partition interfaces across the face zone from which you extract the profile. May you try to partition the domain manually to see if that happen again. |

Hello,
I did as you say and I have no problem partitioning manually. But since I have to export the pressure coefficient by "execute commands", there is a command that takes account of the parallel exporting only the nodes so effective?? |
