Hi user's,

I`m actually simulating a flow in a 3D channel. The dimensions of the channel are 5mm x 0.5mm x 15mm. So it is a very short channel with a lenght of 15mm. The inlet is a mass-flow-inlet, the channel wall is a wall and the outlet is a pressure-outlet (0bar). And the operating pressure is set to 1bar.
Now I´m not sure about the correct thermal boundary conditions. The compressible fluid has a temperature of 293.15K at the inlet and the wall get the isothermal temperature of 1273.15K. At the outlet I set the temperature for the pressure-outlet to 293.15K... Is this right?
I want to have the average temperature of the fluid at the outlet, but there I say with the boundary conditions that the temperature is 293.15K... It is not a conflict with my target? Furthermore I want to get the heat flow from the wall to the fluid, but this should be ok.

Thank you for your help!

Regards,
Aloex

I solved the problem by my self. For a pressure-outlet boundary condition must define the backflow temperature... So it isn`t the temperature like you have to define at a mass-flow-inlet.
