Dear all,

I would like to know if it is possible to change the constant values of a turbulence model via the Text User Interface in Fluent (6.23).
I could not find anything about this in the user's guide.
Does anyone know how to do it?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Alex,

Yes, you can modify the Pr_t value by typing in the text interface, or in a journal file:

(rpsetvar 'keprt 0.6)

where 0.6 is the value you want to set and "keprt" is the name of the constant as understood by Fluent. This one is the one for the k-epsilon model, I don't know if it's the one you were talking about. To find the constant names, you can open a case file in a text editor.

To verify that it worked, just have a look at the GUI or type:

(rpgetvar 'keprt)

Hope it helps...
