Hi,
I am trying to simulate the flow around a thin vertical porous media in the open channel. However, so far I have some problems with the results and would like to seek your advice: I have tried meshes of different sizes for the domain and found that the coarser grids show a more reasonable flow patterns compared to the finer grid. This refers to the development of a recirculation zone behind the porous media. Can anyone help me with an idea of how I could decide on the optimum size of mesh ? Thanks! |
