I am a new user of Fluent. Currently I`m using Fluent 6.3.26 and GAMBIT 2.3.16. I`m modeling a supersonic nozzle problem using Solver FLUENT 5/6. Unfortunately, I got this error " ERROR: volume sphere1 has higher order elements and cannot be exported to fluent 5 format. the mesh file was not created."
Please help me. Thanks in advance! |

Did you increase, in Gambit, the value of nodes in Set Volume Element Type?
If you did: set it at lowest value. > default set "MESH.NODES.HEX" numeric 8

Correcting the volume element type will also correct face et edge element type (automatically)
But did you increase, in Gambit, the value of nodes in Set Volume Element Type , Set Face Element Type or Set Edge Face Element Type?
