Hi:
I want to simulate gas+particle flow in a pipe. In that case do we need to select the Eulerian model from the multiphase (for the gas phase) and DPM for the solid phase. Thanks |

you need not to select any multiphase model, DPM model is appropriate for your case.

In that case where are we giving the velocity for the gas phase and how do we get the profiles of the gas phase? In the contours it does not give any option for the gas or solid phase. The phase option is also off in the problem setup panel if we just select DPM. Thanks |

DPM model cannot give you the velocity distribution of solid phase by "Display Contours”, but it can display the particles pathlines color by velocity magnitude in "Display Pathlines".If you want to know the variables distribution of different phase, you can try to switch to Eulerian model or Mixture model.
