hi everyone can any one solve my prob ,i m using fluent to simulate result of oscillating cylinder ,for that i m using dynamic mesh ,i am not using any udf because cylinder will oscillate due to vortex only, for motion of cylinder i gave condition in boundry condition as moving wall with no velocity ,i m getting some result like coff of lift but i dont know wheter my cylinder is oscillating or not

I realize the post is old but how did you simulate VIV without a UDF ???
I really dont think you can do it without a UDF.
