Hi all,

I am modeling a steady stream of discrete phase particles (solid) in a stream of water in a pipe being heated to a certain temperature (through the walls of the pipe). The discrete phase particles are also being dissolved in water according to the temperature.

I have available with me the particle size distribution at different temperatures. My question is how can I model change of particle size according to temperature in FLUENT? Do I have to make a UDF for this?

Please, if anyone has any hint of how to solve this problem, please let me know here or email me at sahni.h@gmail.com

Thanks!
