samygero is on a distinguished road
Hello,

I have at my disposition a case file with a grid that i would like to modify. Unfortunately the mesh file that was imported into fluent is now lost because of a crash disk at my university. I also have the simulation results at my disposition using Fluent 6.3

I was wondering if it was possible first of all to export the mesh from fluent to gambit.
The purpose of this is that would like to modify the mesh on itself and also define existing zones of fluid where i want to activate porous jumps.

I not will I be able to do this in fluent? how?

If it is possible to export the mesh back into gambit and modify it, will I have to redefine the boundary conditions and all the inputs in Fluent that were defined before?

Sincerely yours,
Samy
