Hi all,

I'm modeling the interface water-air on a rotating disk where the water flow is fed at the center of the disk. I need to know the shape and the height of the water film on the disk. I'm using the VOf model but I have some problem because I would like to reach a solution in a steady state formulation but the simulation does not reach the convergence.

Someone can give me any advices?

Are there better models to simulate this problem?

Thank you

Bene

VOF is a pretty good model to work with. I am not sure if VOF will work in steady state. To save computation time you can work with the NITA (Non-Iterative Time Advancement). Take a look at the documentation.
