I would like to model a chemical reaction i.e. esterification with CFD Fluent. I have been told that CFD Fluent is designed specifically for combustion. May i know what should i do to model a chemical reaction i.e. esterification instead of combustion by using CFD Fluent? Since i am totally a beginner in using CFD Fluent for modeling of chemical reaction. I appreciate for help given. Thanks

hai
any reaction for which you know the stoichiomery as well as the rate equation can be carried out in fluent. u can use the arrhenius constants directly in the reaction window r u can create an udf for rate equation and run it too |
