Richard_CFD is on a distinguished road
I got problem in modeling an aircraft using ICEM-CFD/Fluent. After completed the CFD runs ( 3d, pbns, inviscid), I found out that there are wave type of fluctuations on the surface contour plots. The mesh (tet) was generated using ICEM-CFD (read in as STEP file). I done a lot of aircraft external aerodynamics CFD before (Gambit+Fluent), never had similar problem. It looks like a surface geometry quality issue, but my customer had hard time to find it in their model (Catia). so, I am wondering have you guys seen similar issue before, or have any advice.

Thanks,

Richard
