Modeling a vacuum chamber in Icepak

I'm new to this software. I want to simulate heating of package in a completely sealed vacuum chamber with no air. How do I :
1. Assign vacuum properties to the empty space? 2. Do I keep the flow (velocity/pressure) variable turned on? If I turn it off, it becomes a conduction model. Any help is kindly appreciated. Thanks. |

In Icepak, as far as i have used, there is no option to Simulate an evacuated Cabinet. Instead, try switching off the flow in basic parameters and assign very low thermal conductivity values for the surrounding ambient domain. that could help in a close approximation.

Ignore my last post. Actually there is an option for the same. You can simulate a vaccuum chamber by deactivating the air domain , i.e., Cabinet from your icepak model. Try out and let me know. thanks Pramodh J |
