Hello everyone,

I have a doubt with regards to using Fortran (or for that matter any program) output in FLUENT through UDFs. Further details of my query are:

I need to send data back and forth (say for every time step) using text files, for example writing the data from Fluent to Fortran algorithm in a file and then starting the Fortran code, which will save the results in a new file. When the Fortran code has finished, Fluent reads the data file written by Fortran and so on .

It would be very helpful if anyone who has done something along the same lines can throw more light on it?

Thanks a lot!
