dear friends,
I am trying to simulate methane-air counterflow diffusion flame under microgavity conditions in fluent 6.3 i need to specify specific heat as piecewise linear, viscosity by sutherlands law, for individual species and then take mass weighted average for the mixture, I couldn't find an option to specify it for individual species, it available only for the mixture. should I calculate the mass weighted averages of these quantities manually for the mixture? |

i got converged results by the method of taking mass weighted averages manually but the results are rather disappointing. though the flame stretch, temperatures and all are matching, its giving a cylindrical flame instead of a planar flame,
please reply if you have any suggestions.. that would be a greatly helpful. regards, aromal |
