Hi all,
I am modeling the flow of Argon gas in the arc chamber of a Plasma Spray gun, and exiting the nozzle into the atmospher. I am having trouble simulating the proper flow conditions and obtaianing flow velocities. I am using a 2-D, axisymmetric, Density based, steady solver with a k-e RNG turbulence model and EWT. I have set the entry B.C. as velocity inlet, but cannot seem to set my desired pressure. I know my inlet velocity is 13.4 m/s, but a high pressure at this inlet should give me high velocities at the nozzle exit. I only get around 27m/s at the exit. If anyone can help in this matter i would appreciate it alot. Thanks. |
