hi all.
i really need some help here, maybe it seems quite simple but i have no clue:
i have simulated the flow field of 3d pipe flow.now i want to get the velocity of a series of centain points(more than 300 points).how can i do it? maybe , udf can be used ,but, i have no idea.
if possible please help me.

thanks again for your help. and i can create the points which i wanted. but how could i writte information of the points (such as vertex average /x velocity ) in one text.

I'm not sure how to write the data in one file with fluent, but you can write each monitor individually. Then, you could use either a spreadsheet or write a program to combine all the data into one file.
