Dear friends.
Do anyone know the general procedure or steps to find out gas holdup. There are many gas holdups and I am confused and dont know how to find them. Time average gas holdup, area average and volume average gas holdup. Also overall gas holdup. Well That I know. Do any one have tutorial file for determining gas holdup (time,area,volume averaged) in bubble column. If you have please mail me at mohashin93@gmail.com. |

Dear friends.
Do anyone have a gas hold up tutorial file. I am simulating hydrodynamics of bubble column reactor and I wand to study the gas holdup. I know only about the overall gas holdup. But there are various other parameters like time average area average volume average gas holdups. Also radial distribution of gas holdup. Do anyone know about that? How to get these values using Fluent 6.2. ? If anyone know the steps of all or any one of that please tell me that. I really nead it. If you have any pdf telling the procedure and the difference about these please forward it to me. It is always a problem with pdf tutorial we have.Usually the mesh,UDF & header files needed to run the tutorial are not provided. It is the indication that we have to prepare it on our own. Indirectly the tutorial provider make us fool because they know that not providing the basic file and providing only pdf will not help the readers much. So friend u manage to make the UDF yourself. I can provide u the procedure and basic knowledge about how to make a UDF with few examples.Post your email. |
