how to use Up Stream boundary condition in open channel Flow

hi all
i have a problem to modelling open channel flow ,when i put the pressure inlet for Up Stream boundary condition that means i put the depth of water in channel ,but after the running , at 2 or 3 meter down the Up Stream boundary condition the depth is decrease and all the computation be incorrect.any one can help me? |
