Hello to everybody,
generally I use paraview to postprocess my fluent simulations, exporting data in ensight format. The procedure works very well, but I don't know how to post-process discrete phase particle trajectories. Do you have any idea how to export DPM trajectories in an external post-process program, and in particular in Paraview? Best regards Michele |

Have you found file>export>particle history data?
Alternatively, there is an option to write step-by-step track data from the Graphics>Particle Tracks set up dialogue. Data relating to specfic boundarys can be collected from Report>Discrete Phase>Sample What I am struggling with is exporting any record of track history that includes the fate of the track. I'd really like to isolate escaped tracks from trapped tracks. I think I may have to do some work on the data outside of fluent and then import for postprocessing. |
