Hello,
I have designed a 2D naca airfoil and it's control volume. When i try to mesh gambit gives me the following warning: Warn: mesh size on face v_face.5 is smaller than the geometric tolerance. For an accurate mess use larger mesh sizes and/or create geometry at a larger scale. What can i do to balance the mesh tolerance with my geometry? thanks in advance |

Can u post the picture of ur 3D model / mesh?
I think u can use Boolean to cut out the portion and use finer mesh on the face it said.

I think you can improve this by redrawing the geometry on a larger scale.
By default tolerance of Gambit is 1e-6. (You can confirm) If you are drawing the geometry in meters, try millimeters. Hope this helps. Anshul |
