What's up with Fluent 12.1? Or as Ansys would like to say, ANSYS 12.1. I can't find anything on the internet that says anything about new features or upgrades or fixes from v 12.0. Maybe I just need to look further. I have not asked my Ansys contact about differences.
And what's up with the download? Zip files too large for windows zip manager? Things are more chaotic than ever. I'm still holding on to lm license manager and that track so as to be able to still use v6.3. Oh well, maybe OpenFoam will be the final solution. |

I think there is a section in the userportal that explains the new features.
And why use windows zip manager? use winrar or 7zip |

Fluent or Ansys user portal? And when you pay x thousands of dollars a year to lease Fluent, I don't think you should have to buy third-party software (or use freeware) just to access the download.
