Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me, I'm trying to use a boundary profile file to set a velocity inlet boundary condition where the velocity in the x direction varies with position on the inlet surface and also with time, therefore there are 5 variables that I need to put into the boundary profile file, x,y and z coords, time, and x-velocity.
I have tried putting these in a file of type 'point', but it doesn't seem to recognise the variables for what they are. I found on one of the threads on here that you can use a type 'transient' file to create an unsteady, time varying profile, and managed to run an unsteady case successfully without spatial variation of the velocity, but when I change the velocity with spatial coordinate aswell as time variation it doesn't seem to recognise it. Does anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks a lot Jonny |
