Dear Friends
I am new to Fluent-Gambit. I am doing the tutorials of mixing elbow where I am creating mesh for mixing elbow pipes. The mesh is created using fluent 4 solver setting. Now I exported the mesh as elbow.GRD but when I am trying to import that file into fluent its not loading the grid giving errors. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Error: sopeninputfile: unable to open pipe for input Error Object: "| utility fl42seg D:\CFD\Fluent\Projects\ELBOW\ExportedFromGambit\Mi xingElow.GRD" Error: Error reading "| utility fl42seg D:\CFD\Fluent\Projects\ELBOW\ExportedFromGambit\Mi xingElow.GRD". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks sujan |

Hi
If my memory is right I think, the elbow is 2D. Then while exporting mesh , be sure to select the 2D option button. Regards |

Try exporting the design as a MSH format rather than GRD, and check the "export as 2D" box.
