I want to simulate dambreak using Fluent Software. As we know, in the procedure of dambreak, the breach becomes larger with time , so I decide to simulate the procedure using dynamic mesh, and I wonder how we can do to realize it. It is simply assumed that the shape of the breach at different time is a rectangular .I appreciate your time very much. Thank you.

The size of the break is very complicated to assess... if you succeed to get the size of the break... it is difficult to find the exact place of break... so I offer you to choose a median value of the break size and place... after that proceed as an ordinary simulation...

thank you for reply.
I have got the size of the break and the exact place of break at different time. But I don't know how to simulate it .I wonder whether the macro DEFINE_GRID_MOTION is useful for the break simulation.

Do not waste your time to model this... focus on the flooding.... the break takes about 2-3 seconds... and this process is of a question how it happens .... leave the process of rupture...
