hey everyone
I want to model a volume inside a volume and than how will i get final model so that flow of fluid should be affected by both inner and outer volume. So please suggest me which command will be best for separating these volumes.... |

Generate the two volumes, substract one from the other then mesh the resulting geometry

I assume you want to model the flow inside volume-1 and around the inner volume-2, like flow inside a tube, with an obstruction.
If that is the case, yes, you can subtract vol-2 from vol-1 since flow happens only in the remaining space. In this case you can delete vol-2. If flow occurs in both volumes, you need to mesh both volumes, and then define them as different zones in gambit. |
