teymourj is on a distinguished road
Dear all,

I am working on modeling a wind turbine in a wind tunnel using SRF scheme. After my first set of simulations, I come up to this conclusion that in order to have a better idea about the wake behind the turbine I need to extend the region behind the turbine. I created the new mesh and want to initialize it with the results from my first simulations, but the problem is that, when I replace my new mesh with the older one (shorter tunnel) I should start my simulation from zero. I was wondering if there is any way so that I can initialize my new mesh with the results from the old cas. and dat. file. As I mentioned the only difference between old and new mesh is the extended part at the end of the channel. Right now after replacing the mesh, when I want to run the simulation,m FLUENT asks me to initialize problem at first.

Thank you for your time and consideration and I am looking forward to hear from you.

With regards

Teymour
