Hi!
I am modeling a gear pump in which mesh deformation is too big to keep a good quality along the whole cycle, so I decided to use an adapt command after each certain number of time steps. In Fluent 6.3 I used "conformal" adaption since "hanging" didn't seem to work with dynamic meshes (giving segmentation fault when trying to iterate after the adaption). But I had to pass to Fluent 12 and it seems that the "conformal" option has been eliminated from this new version, so I can just use "hanging", but it still doesn't support dynamic meshes... Am I right? Do you know a way to adapt dynamic meshes in Fluent 12? Thanks very much in advance |
