Hi all,
I have a general question about the methods fluent uses for data reporting (vertex vs. facet) and I haven't been able to find a clear answer in the documentation. I'm trying to report pressure and velocity extrema along a curve -- Is the vertex value the value at the nearest control volume center, and the facet value the interpolated value at the curve from the nearest control volume? Also, if the facet value is an interpolated value, what order interpolation is it? If it is only a first order interpolation, wouldn't that make a 2nd order solution only 1st order accurate? Thank you, Sean Last edited by delfel; August 14, 2009 at 02:16. |
