hello..
I am modelling spray dryer chamber. I have a pressure inlet boundary of air entering at 300k 30% humidity. At the bottom of the chamber a pressure outlet. After calculating velocities and temperatures profiles of continuous phase, I enable DPM module and inject droplets of water into the chamber. My question is, after calculating interaction between both phases, the mass balance on fluent report should be different of zero, right? And this difference should be de mass of water I have injected, right? The problem is I am getting strange results of very low injection mass, and sometimes it happens that the inlet boundary has more flow rate than the outlet. any ideia? thanks jpinho |
