Hi,
I would like to simulate a flow around an airfoil with different angles of attack and different reynoldnumbers.
The simulation works very well. I decided to use a journal file, so that the different simulations can run at night...

The problem is:
When I start Fluent (6.3.26) and run the journal file, it works. When I run it a second time without restarting fluent, the file is not able to change the boundary conditions (velocity inlet) to simulate the next angle of attack. Everything else works.
I wanted to write one single journal file with the different conditions, but it does not work because of the problem I described above. My journal file is useless if I have to restart Fluent after every single simulation.

My journal file is attached - I tried it with two different angles of attack....

It would be very nice if someone has an idea how to solve my problem!

Thanks,
Till

hi.if you want to write a journal file and use it for many times ,i think you can do the following procedure:
write:
solve monitors residual reset yes
and then define new boundary conditions and .......
