We are actually designing a heat sink using liquid cooling,we have come across some
Error: divergence detected in AMG solver: temperature
Error Object: ()
we hence never arrived convergence for this problem, hence we reduced under relaxation factor only for energy upto 0.7, after this we get good results and convergence, but i want to know whether this change will affect the solution and final practical results?,if yes how far? what are these affect on solution,Please post your suggestions. Thanks in advance.

In my own opinion, reducing the relaxation factor to 0.7 has no effect to your result.

Hi,

The URFs for scalars and energy should never be less than 0.98 in the final converged solution. Once the solution stabilizes, you try ramping up the energy URF.

Anupam
