hai

I am trying to apply the Kato-Launder k-epsilon turbulence model for my problem. So, i have to modify the production term in the standard k-epsilon model. Is it possible with UDF's? Is it possibule to impliment Kato-Launder model using UDF's? please help me in this try.

thanks in advance for ur suggestions.

Kato-Launder is already implemented in Fluent. You can turn it on using the text-interface commands (not the gui)

Fluent support should be able to help you with the details. To see from the solution if Kato-Launder is active I would advice you to look at the turbulence levels in stagnation regions and in the free-stream. The k-levels in stagnation regions and regions oustside boundary and shear layers should be much lower when you have Kato-Launder active.
