Hi there,
I'm using the Custom Field Function to define a function i.e A/B I want to monitor the [integral]A/[integral]B Using the surface monitor panel I choose: Report of Custom Field Functions... custom-function-1 Report type Integral but I get the [integral](A/B) instead of [integral]A/[integral]B How to monitor [integral]A/[integral]B ? Thanks in advance Last edited by T81; April 7, 2009 at 05:40. |

You may have to alternatively monitor both [integral]A and [integral]B and save to a file first and let the other post-processing software to handle [integral]A/[integral]B later, if you're sure that [integral](A/B) is not equal to [integral]A/[integral]B

panda thank you for replying.
When you say Quote:
Shall I import the data i.e to matlab or excel? Is it possible to use saved data (filename.out) in fluent to enhance post-processing? |

it would be easy for excel to process the data, i don't think Fluent can manipulate your saved data too much.
