can meshing pattern be a cause of divergence??
I am now simulating a bubble column of 4 m of height and 0.15 m of diameter, with a gas sparger having the form of 9 tubes intersecting with a long tube in the middle of each, on the tubes there are holes of 1mm diameter each. that configuration obliged me to use tetrahedral meshes in the bottom side of the column, wich increased the cells number to 314000. now while simulating, I always get divergence telling me " divergence detected AMG solver: k" does this mean that my meshing is too bad, because everytime I change K and epsilon, I get the same divergence message... pls help me, I really don't know what to do |

try other turbulence models, also other solver parameters.
