Why do you say they are incompatible with 6.3 version? As the tutorial was made for 6.2, and as far as I remember I did it with the same version of fluent.

I've the same problem of yours!!
I think the simulation of wave generation in tank compatible for 6.3 version only. and it can run by 6.3.26. Ver 6.3.21 is demo version. because i cannot find the 6.3.28 program on the net. I have heard that the latest ver of FLUENT 12. Maybe it can work on this too!! |

libudf... It means you need to recompile the source code according to your processor architecture and what operational system you are using. libudf is defined most likely as C file. There are also already compiled files, but what I see it means the original C file needs to be recompiled using fluent build in compiler. Try to look in Fluent documentation, it is pretty well explained.

Dear: trontoan2008
Can U tell me, what series Fluent software do you have? Cos not all libudf can be used. Most of them we must build by C++ software. |

Hi Freeday,
I am using Fluent V6.3.26 s/w. I think If we have udf file, we can build it in Fluent based on C++ s/w. So, if you have this udf, please send to me. I appriciate your helping. Best regards, |
