Are you sure you are using Gambit?
Such problem appears when surfaces normal vectors do not conform with main model axes for triangular grids or in case of rectangular meshes only x and y axes. I do not use Gambit anymore, I think it is not a very good tool. However, it is still possible to have your job done If you are Gambit fan, forgive me, maybe newer versions are better than what it used to be in the past, dunno. Usually "null pointer domain error" appears when you use external (it means not Fluent provided meshers) meshing software. For example your lines or surfaces are defined in wrong directions. If you need more explanation let me know, I will try to elaborate more. Right now check mesh axes alignment with Fluent main axes. Best, Krst |
