is Fluent capable of this too?

hello,i just wanted to know that: are Gambit and Fluent capable of modeling and analyzing a wave that comes to shore and then breaks in, i have heard this is a VOF problem and Fluent solves VOF problems,is this right?

I cannot help you with your problem. I just want to advice you that the title you choose for your thread may not attract the expert. It is better to use something like: Subject - Problem As an example for your case it may be: Wave coming from shore - a VOF problem? Hope this english is correct. Have a nice day. Micael |

Yes it is possible. You would need to use VOF model (which is supported by Fluent). It is quite computationally demanding, but it is possible.
