Simulating air injects thru. a tube to water in a

Can Fluent simulate air injects thru. a tube to water in a tank? I believe this is a problem of fluid interaction or fluid mixing, not multiphase flow.
If connot, which CFD code can handle this? Thanks, HW |

Hi Howard,
You can do this simulation in Fluent. Yes, this problem is fluid mixing and a multi phase flow, you can go with simple mixture model with 2 phase model in Fluent. Let me know if you need any details. Hari |

Can u please help me in detail how to model multiphase flows in Fluent with some examples.. I have a problem where in gas in injected at high pressure into a pool of molten steel for proper mixing.. So,please help me to simulate such process.. Chandu... |
