First you have to create a surface(circle in shape) which is concentric with the outlet. Open "Surface-->Quadric Surface". Change "Type" to Circle., Switch on the relevant functions to get circle eqn.
Once you created the surface, then this newly created surface will appear in all the post processing options. For flow rate inside this circle, first compute avg. velocity, from this you can get flowrate inside the circle. For your ref.-- Circle eqn. is (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2 where h&k are center pts. r-radius. I have not tried it before, but Hope it works! |

thanks sathees for ur suggestion... but my model is a 3d that's why circle option is not there in quadric surface. cicrle option comes only for 2d geometry for 3d sphere plane etc option comes..so if u have any suggestion for it please reply me........

try using sphere plane by switching off the third coordinate. means,
1 for x^2 1 for y^2 0 for z^2 sorry, if I am wrong. |

thanks Sathees... but how can we do that because in quadric surface panel ther is no option to give the coefficient of x^2 y^2 z^2 etc....we just able to enter the coordinates of center and radius. is there any other way to do this.. please reply ASAP
