Hi, i am undergrad student. I face a problem when i tried to modify the volume or face from the solidwork drawing that i imported. When ever i am modify or create a edge. I got an error message stated that can't operate with the associated non-real geometry. By the way, I am using IGES format to import into gambit. Any advide or help is truely appreciate. Thanks in advance.

When you import the file, Gambit must be creating virtual faces/edges. These are represented as v_face for example. You have to convert these to real geometry. Gambit isn't really very good with IGES. If you have an option of using Stp, STEP or parasolid, try that.
