Default scheme stack space

I am importing a scheme macro every 5 time steps in an unsteady analysis using the execute commands. After a certain amount of time i run into an error telling me i'm out of scheme stack space and i need to increase the limit. I read online that i type -s8000 when openingn fluent through the command line if i want a limit of 8000, so i do this and fluent loads. Is this the correct way to set the stack space and if so how do i check whether this was successful?

Regards David
