Dear
May you explain what is the difference between wall and wall shadow, because some times when I define a face as wall in Gambit and after that go to fluent I see that additional wall is defined in boundary layer of Fluent as wall shadow. Do I have to give the wall shadow the same properties of the wall like temperature and thickness. I'm looking forward for your reply Yours Thanks |

If you use a wall with material or fluid on both sides of it, Fluent will generate a shadow wall for computations on the other side. |
