Dear All I have make a simulation of gear pump by Fluent I finished all setting in gambit and export file to fluent as mesh file extension and in dynamic mesh panel smoothing and re-meshing panel i do not know how can fill the setting in it i leave it default and i examine the time step in mesh motion preview panel and i find the suitable time step size is 1e-05 sec. now in iteration panel i put the time step size = 1e-05 and i want to examine my case (Gear Pump ) 10 sec. so i put in number of time step = 1000000 to achieved ten second and leave Max number of iteration to default (1) .so after all the above setting i must stay my computer turn on about 60 hour to finish the iteration ,Is that reasonable? and can i reduce the time step size of my case (Gear Pump) ,and how can i fill the setting in re-meshing and soothing panel. Thanks Mustafa Ayad Interawe

Dear mustafa,
I would like to know if you were able to complete the simulation of this external gear pump. I have almost the same gear pump to simulate. And I have so many problems to solve. I would be greateful if you could help me in this topic. Kind regards. Quote:
