Free surface water wave profile

Hello,

I'm trying to model a free surface transient flow of water waves with initial water wave profile and velocity field (two phase flow of water and air).

I need help regarding how to model the initial wave profile and velocity. The basic option of region patching isn't enough in my case because it doesn't allow complex region selection (such as sine wave profile for example).

I found in earlier messages about this subject something about using DEFINE_INIT.

I'll be thankful if anyone could help me with this and even send me example files if possible for this kind of problem or other similar problem.
