Dear CFD users,

I am now using Fluent to simulate the secondary combustor in a Municipal solidwaste incinerator. I want to set the heat loss from the flue gase through the walls, but I dont know how to write an UDF for the heat flux. In my simulation I just used the walls with zero thickness. So, could you give some suggestions or give me some examples about that and what macro should I use (DEFINE_HEAT_FLUX or DEFINE_PROFILE?).

Thank you so much in advance. I am looking forwards to hearing from you because I am in urgent situation now.

sincerely yours,

Thanh.
