Solidworks IGS to Gambit Problem

Hi all i make a 2D model of Spur gear in Solidworks 2008 and save as IGS file and when i try to import it to gambit this error messade appear : GEOM-TRANSLATION LICENSE i want the solution for that Regards.

Hi, it is for the license, the original license can import or export the IGS files , however there is a form with Catia v5, save as SAT file, your 2d model import to catia V5 and after open in the gambit.

sorry Mustafa, the file is STEP or STP, save the file in catia v5 and after open the gambit in FILE - IMPORT - STEP, and open de file.

For importing a solidworks component (parasolid, step, iges, all others) i need the geom-trans license file. is there anyone who can help me out here please???? none of the above steps are working. same thing happened with my unographics software too...please help!

I would contact your network administrator or contact fluent directly. Alternatively, if you're using a cracked version of fluent then you're SOL.
