Hello everyone,
Im am writing a UDF to define the break up rate of particles. I have the PB add-on distributed by Fluent. Still i have some basic questions on how the fluent code will perform the integration for the birth of the particles due to breakage. A daughter distribution has to be defined. In the Fluent manual this daughter distribution is given as a function of z= d_2^3/d_1^3 (in the example). But if one uses the QMOM approach one must multiply by L^k(for the kth moment). My question now is: Is the L^k automatically set as a function of z in the fluent code ? Or should the daughter distribution be given in the UDF as a function of d_2 (and not of z)? These question generally come dow to one main question: how does fluent integrate? Over d_2 or over z ? Thank you all in advance Greetings, Jaron |
