hi.i'm an mechanical student.can someone help me with the modeling of an exhaust gas species flow with different catalyst material in the catalytic converter.how to apply it into the boundary condition etc.thanx so much.

Hi
The type of analysis you are talking of is of surface chemical reactions in porous media of catalyst where you will have to write a UDF (Code to define a reactions happening in the porous media)This code will in corporate the temp. dependent reactions with the exhaust gas species with catalyst compositions and thus due to flow and temp of exhaust gas you could be able to see the amount of products. Kind of tough analysis i would rather comment .......... uday regards |
