Hello,
I have saved data files from unsteady simulation. Can anyone help regarding saving variation of pressure at a 'point' in domain now for all of the data files? Please note that I have already run the simulation, otherwise I could have saved the information using monitor panel. Thanks Atul |

surface/point
report/surface integrals/ choose vertex average and the kind of pressure you want to write. Enable the "write..." option |

Thanks for the response mAx, but please let me tell u that i already have about 200 data files saved. Doing this manually will take me some time. I hope that there is some automatic way to extracty data through udf or macro.
I need to read the data file (say 1) and then get static pressure at a point, write it to a file. read data file 2, get static pressure at the same point and write it to same file.... i want to repeat it for all of my data files. simialrly i have different unsteady cases with corresponding data files. I want to do the same of other unstaedy case and data files also. Your help is appriciated. Thanks, Atul |

yes it is possible with a scheme file (I have it).
You just have to writes a journal file, describing what you want to do for each case & data, and then the scheme file will loop it. |
